To the best of our knowledge, there remains no direct competitor that offers an inexpensive, non-invasive, single-use self-test designed to be used at home by untrained users.

There has recently been a concerted effort to develop sophisticated, laboratory-based diagnostic tools but to date, these products have not been widely available, they are invasive, generally requiring blood samples and are extremely expensive at up to USD$900 per test. They also require medical professionals to administer and evaluate the test results. Far from raising concern, we see these products as symbiotic.

The MyCellHealth self-test kit would be a perfect screening tool that users could undertake before committing to the more expensive diagnostic tests.
